User Experience + Interface Design
For years I was creating personas and user stories without having a designation to anchor them to. In 2022, I jumped headfirst into user experience + user interface design (UX/UI) and earned a few certificates from the Grow With Google Professional Courses. Let’s work together and accentuate the user experience for your brand or company.
Google Professional UX Design Course Certificates
From the Google Professional UX Design courses, I learned foundations of UX design including the following:
Product development life cycles
Key frameworks and elements of UX design
How to conduct UX research, design sprints, and usability studies
Identifying user pain points and crafting personas & writing user stories
Conducting competitive audits
User flows, storyboards, and information architecture
Foundational elements of visual design & design systems
Lo-Fi Design Project
I conducted my own research, created wireframes, and a low-fidelity prototype in the interface design app, Figma, for an interactive art gallery app (inspired by a local curator in Nashville!).
Here, you can see the app project development from a storyboard to paper and digital wireframes, as well as the user flow between each lo-fi wireframe screen.
Applied in the “Real World”
During my time as a Customer Care Specialist, I frequently worked with the engineering team to test & update our internal software to better the experience for both the customers and our team’s productivity.
